This article describes the security settings you can configure to grant or restrict user access to the Timesheet features of Autotask. It also documents the settings of the system security levels in your Autotask instance.
System security levels are not editable, but you can make copies and edit them to create custom security levels. Refer to:
Overview
This group of permissions provides you with a variety of management tiers that you can assign to your user groups for timesheet administration tasks. You can define access to view, create, and edit timesheets, and enforce required information for the submission of time off requests.

Can access Time Off & Payroll reports (requires Time & Expenses standard reports permission)
About this setting
This setting allows the user to see the Paid / Exported Timesheets menu option in the Autotask main menu 
. It is enabled by default for all security levels that have Admin: Finance, Accounting, & Invoicing permission.
You can only select it if the Time & Expenses category is enabled under Reports. Refer to Can view standard reports in the following categories:.

About this setting

About this setting
This permission is the default for all standard security levels.
When the Can create new project time entries from Timesheet setting is off, the user will only see a New button (instead of a drop-down menu) that, when clicked, will open the New Regular Time page.
